The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) Course run by the institute is Recognized by Ministry of Health Medical Education & Family Welfare Govt. of India, New Delhi and Recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi and the same has been notified in Gazette of India. Vide No. V-12018/3/99-PMS Dated 15th April 2000.
Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi has granted permission for admission in Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) Course in the following specialities :
(a) Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge (3 Seats)
(b) Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics (2 Seats)
(c) Periodontology (2 Seats)
(d) Oral Medicine & Radiology (2 Seats)
For academic session 2016-17, no permission for renewal of admission has been granted in the above mentioned M.D.S. specialities.
The Institute is permanently affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar).
